Anni Sedgwick and Daisy

Meet the Team

THE 10 MINUTE BOX began in 1992, when Sydney 2000 Olympian Amanda Ross asked her mother Anni Sedgwick to repair some neoprene work boots used on her eventing horses. Anni had always been pretty handy on the sewing machine, and as a rider herself, appreciated good quality, well fitting products. After inspecting the already worn stitching on the newly purchased boots, Anni decided she could make a more durable product herself...and THE 10 MINUTE BOX was born!

Since then, the family business has earned an excellent reputation for its simple, durable, lightweight & easy to use product, that has stood the test of time.  And, all the products are still designed & tested by Anni & Amanda on their own horses (and chewed, trodden on, drowned, sideswiped & scraped...even the dogs had a munch!)

Anni has been a rider all her life, is a mother of two, competes in open eventing, has created her own small business, loves the three P's (pottery, pilates and our puppies!), and has an amazing relationship with horses! She has a 'can-do' approach to life, & is an inspiration to all her peers!

Amanda has been a top level eventing rider in Australia, twice reserve for the World Equestrian Games in 1998 & 2010, as well as representing Australia in the Individual Three Day Event at the Sydney Olympics. A few years of competing up to Inter 1 dressage offered her some insightful appreciation of 'the finer details of the boring part of eventing', so much that Amanda even qualified as an NCAS level 2 eventing and dressage specialist coach! She has worked as a coach since 1997, and thoroughly enjoys training dedicated equestrians & their horses.

Amanda and Anni, along with the help of Anni's husband Pete, form the foundations of this family company, and love that they can combine business with their passion.
